CCPA Authorized Agent
Our role
leavenotrac.es acts as an authorized agent under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). When you subscribe, you grant us written authorization to submit opt-out and deletion requests to data brokers on your behalf.
What this means
As your authorized agent, we can submit the following types of requests to data brokers and people-search sites:
- Right to delete — request that a broker delete your personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale — direct brokers to stop selling or sharing your data.
- Right to opt out of sharing — applicable under CPRA to cross-context behavioral advertising.
We use only the personal information you provide in your profile to submit these requests. We do not use your data for any other purpose.
Granting authorization
Authorization is granted when you complete the CCPA authorization step in your account setup. Your signed authorization is stored securely and presented to brokers on request. You may revoke authorization at any time by cancelling your account or contacting us.
Scope of coverage
We submit requests to data brokers who collect and sell personal information about California residents. Our coverage includes brokers subject to CCPA, CPRA, and similar state privacy laws including Virginia (CDPA), Colorado (CPA), and Connecticut (CTDPA).
